Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist with Level 1 Trauma experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in the CT Scan department of an 865-bed Magnet, academic teaching, Level 1 Trauma hospital
• Daily caseload varies by shift and location
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Holiday rotation required
• On-call rotation shared with staff
• Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities
• Charting via Epic
• Parking passes available for nights and weekends for a one-time fee of $20

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Active BLS (AHA), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) certifications required
• Siemens CT equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience
• SC state license must be in hand at time of start — license required if applicable
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Must be able to provide own radiation badge — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered provided they have relevant prior experience
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on manager and unit needs
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; local candidates may be accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Pre-start online modules are required to be completed before the assignment begins
• Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
• AHA certifications only accepted
