Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position at a Level 1 Trauma, teaching facility in Staten Island, NY, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and NYS licensure.

Details

• Level 1 Trauma Center and academic teaching facility spanning 2 campuses with 700 beds
• Exposure to a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, mobile, and ED
• Performs all types of CT exams including head, pelvis, trauma, specialized cardiac, and CT angiograms
• Equipment includes GE Revolution, GE Discovery, and Toshiba Quillion1
• Night shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required; 2 years preferred
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
• NYS Injection/IV Certification required; candidates who obtain IV cert before start and apply for NYDOH BERT certification will be considered
• AHA BLS required
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in the same discipline are required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply as local candidates at a reduced rate
• Scrubs must be a matching solid-color top and bottom in any color; no patterns; scrubs are not provided
• Closed-toe shoes required; excessive jewelry, chipped nail polish, and loose hair or untrimmed beards are not permitted
• Travelers with prior work history at any Northwell or Nuvance Health location will undergo an eligibility review process before being considered
• Timekeeping is managed through Kronos
• AHA is the only accepted provider for BLS certification
