Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level IV NICU position requiring at least 2 years of NICU III/IV experience and NRP certification.
Details
- Level IV NICU in an academic children's hospital setting
- Neonatal patient population including post-op, g-tube, and trach/vent patients
- Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation required for this unit
- Evening/night shifts, 12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3x12-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday availability
- Required to work 2–3 weekends per 6-week scheduling period
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and NRP (both AHA-issued)
- Minimum of 2 years of total NICU Level III/IV experience, with at least 1 year in a Level IV NICU
- Hands-on experience with post-op neonates, g-tube care, and trach/vent management
- Proficiency with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
Additional Information
- Level III and Level IV NICU experience may be combined to meet the 2-year total requirement, provided at least 1 year is at the Level IV designation
- 13-week contract
