Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 16-week assignment in a hospital CT Scan department, requiring ARRT CT certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Details

Hospital-based Radiology CT Scan department
12-hour day shifts, Monday through Sunday
Minimum of every other weekend required; schedule adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs
Call and holiday coverage required as scheduled
Floating is not required
Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays
16-week assignment with potential extension up to 32 weeks

Requirements

ARRT (CT) certification required
NY state injection certification required
NY state license required, or proof of application with applied date (NY licensing typically takes 6–8 weeks, which will be factored into start date considerations); license required if applicable
Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
At least two professional references from a nurse manager and/or supervisor are required — one from within the past 6 months and one from within the past year
SSN and DOB required for consideration
All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

Additional Information

This position follows an interview-to-offer process
Complete work history is required, including bed count, EMR systems used, and facility type
Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
No block scheduling is available for any reason
Candidates with a pending NY license will be considered provided proof of application is included
