Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with experience in both CT and X-ray for a medical imaging assignment in New York requiring valid state licensure.

Details

• Medical imaging department within an acute care hospital setting
• CT scanner is a Siemens Somatom Perspective
• 4x10 hour shifts per week, Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• 8-week contract

Requirements

• Experience in both CT and X-ray required
• Valid ARRT certification in X-ray required
• Valid New York State license to practice Diagnostic Radiography required (license required if applicable)
• Valid New York State license to inject contrast material preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
• 2 references from a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager from within the past year and within the specialty are required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT and diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures in compliance with CT and radiologic standards, safety, and infection control regulations
• Responsible for knowledge of CT and radiologic equipment use and maintenance
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
