Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at an acute care hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and ACLS certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• Facility operates 2 cath lab suites averaging 1–2 cases per day
• Common patient population includes left and right heart catheterizations, pacemakers, and permacath procedures
• Equipment includes a Philips room and a GE room; XPER experience required
• EMR: MEDITECH
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts (07:00–15:30), Monday through Friday
• No call, no weekends, and no holidays required
• No floating requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana (IN) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Experience with MEDITECH EMR and XPER required
• BSN not required

Additional Information

• Cath Lab Techs and a Charge Nurse/Manager are available on the unit
• Orientation consists of 1 traveler orientation shift
• Surgical scrubs (light blue) are provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing between 50–100 miles may be subject to a reduced bill rate
