Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position requiring strong Pediatric ICU and cardiovascular experience with Epic proficiency.

Details

Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) setting within a children's hospital
High-acuity pediatric patient population with cardiovascular cases
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
Monday through Friday with every other weekend required
Some holiday coverage required
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and PALS required
Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular (CV) nursing experience required
Strong Pediatric ICU experience required
First-time travelers considered with at least 3 years of experience in a high-acuity hospital setting; strong Level II PICU experience may be considered
Epic EMR experience required
Must pass a Telemetry test prior to start

Additional Information

Provide high-acuity cardiovascular nursing care to pediatric patients in the CVPICU
A telemetry competency test must be completed and passed before being cleared to begin the assignment
First-time travelers are welcome to apply with qualifying experience
