Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a 13-week night shift contract in Kentucky, requiring at least 1-2 years of acute MS/rehab experience and an active KY or compact RN license.
Details
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit within a regional medical center
- Patient ratio of 1:6 (subject to fluctuation based on census and call-ins)
- Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a on a 36/48-hour bi-weekly rotation (3x12 or 4x12 alternating weeks)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within scope of practice is required
- Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Meditech EMR in use
Requirements
- Active RN license in Kentucky or a compact state currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of current acute med/surg or inpatient rehab nursing experience
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly basis
- 13-week contract assignment
