Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a 13-week night shift contract in Kentucky, requiring at least 1-2 years of acute MS/rehab experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Details

Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit within a regional medical center
Patient ratio of 1:6 (subject to fluctuation based on census and call-ins)
Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a on a 36/48-hour bi-weekly rotation (3x12 or 4x12 alternating weeks)
Every other weekend required
Floating within scope of practice is required
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
Meditech EMR in use

Requirements

Active RN license in Kentucky or a compact state currently in hand
Current AHA BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required; ACLS preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of current acute med/surg or inpatient rehab nursing experience
Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly basis
13-week contract assignment
