Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a day/evening contract position in California, requiring ARRT(CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

CT Scan department at an acute care medical center in California
4x10 hour day and evening shifts with no overnight shifts
Every other weekend required

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
Current ARRT and ARRT(CT) certifications required
Current BLS certification required
Current California Certified Radiological Technologist (CRT) license required if applicable
Current peripheral vascular access certification required
Strong knowledge of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology
High degree of accuracy in CT positioning and exposure techniques
SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

Serve as the primary liaison between patients, radiologists, and other members of the support team
Must apply professional and ethical judgment along with critical thinking when performing duties
13-week contract assignment
