Description

American Traveler is hiring a combined X-Ray and CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in adult acute care and emergency department settings.

Details

• Community hospital setting with a CT scan and X-ray combined role
• Patient population includes ED and inpatient cases on weekends, with some outpatient exams during the day
• Common X-ray exams include chest, abdomen, and extremities; CT exams range from routine head, chest, and abd/pel to CTAs of the head/carotid and PE studies
• Portable X-ray experience is required
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology/CT technology
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• NY State License required if applicable
• Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings required
• Proficiency in portable X-ray required
• X-ray procedure experience required: extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities
• Community hospital experience preferred
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
