Description

American Traveler is hiring a combined X-Ray and CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a night shift contract at an acute care community hospital in Massena, NY.

Details

• Combined X-Ray and CT Tech role in a community hospital setting
• Patient population includes ED, inpatient, and some outpatient cases
• Common X-ray exams include chest, abdomen, and extremities; CT exams include routine head, chest, abd/pel, CTAs of the head/carotid, and PE studies
• Portable X-ray experience is required
• X-ray procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities
• Night shift: 5x8-hour shifts, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology/CT Technologist
• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• Current BLS required
• NY State license required if applicable
• Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Proficiency with portable X-ray equipment
• Experience with a broad range of X-ray and CT procedures including CTAs and PE studies
