Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPC) position in Asheville, NC, requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPC) setting within a hospital environment
• Day shift position, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• 13-week travel contract

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in cardiovascular progressive care or a related specialty
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU/Tele RNs
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• No previous permanent or local employment within the 50-mile radius will be considered — no exceptions
