Description

American Traveler is hiring a dual modality CT Tech/X-Ray Tech with stroke and trauma experience for a night shift position requiring both CT and radiography proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based inpatient and outpatient setting
• Dual modality position requiring operation as both a CT Tech and X-Ray Tech
• Patient population spans all ages from neonates to older adults
• Procedures include Abdomen/GI/Pelvis, Chest/Thorax, Head/Neck, Upper/Lower Extremity, Spine/Pelvis, Brain Perfusion, CTA, CCTA (preferred), Multiplanar Reconstruction (preferred), Preparation/Administration of Contrast Media, Portables, and Spine/Musculoskeletal
• Experience with Isolation Precautions required
• CT scanner is the Siemens GoTop
• Epic EMR experience required
• Night shift: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• 2–3 on-call shifts per month, activated only in the event of a call-out
• Hurricane shift sign-up required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as both a Rad Tech and CT Tech (2 years total across both modalities)
• Dual modality competency required — must be qualified to operate as both a CT Tech and X-Ray Tech
• Stroke and trauma experience required
• Active FL CRT and ARRT certification required
• BLS required via AHA or ARC
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active FL or compact license required if applicable
• Proficiency with PACS required
• Experience starting IVs required

• Locals within a 60-mile radius of the facility are considered; candidates within this radius are subject to a local pay rate

• Pass/fail EKG and Basic Arrhythmia assessment required prior to start
