Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiothoracic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a KS or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Details
- Cardiothoracic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with 16 beds
- Night shift: 19:00–07:30
- Every other weekend requirement
- Telemetry with remote monitoring
- RNs start IVs; IV team available for additional support
- Lab collects blood specimens
- No EKG performance or sheath discontinuation required
- Charting via Cerner OneChart
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number and U.S. home address required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Ceil blue scrubs required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred but not required
- MOAB De-Escalation Training preferred but not required
- Local candidates are eligible to apply; a radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility
