Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT/X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Vermont hospital, working a varied day/night schedule with CT and general radiographic duties.

Details

• Community hospital setting in Morrisville/Stowe, Vermont area
• Performs both CT scanning and general radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging
• Uses portable equipment, C-arm, PACS system, and hospital computer system
• Varied day and night shifts, ideally Tuesday and Wednesday days (12 hrs) and Thursday nights (12 hrs)
• 12-hour shifts across a mix of day and night coverage

Requirements

• ARRT certification (Radiologic Technology and CT) required
• Active Vermont state radiologic technologist license required if applicable
• Proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, C-arm, portable X-ray, and PACS
• Ability to work both day and night shifts on a varied schedule
• Experience performing CT scans required

• Operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to perform imaging as ordered by physicians
• Adjusts technical factors based on patient size and body part while minimizing radiation exposure
• Follows established radiation safety practices
• Transports patients and performs associated clerical tasks as needed
