Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of recent mammography experience and ARRT (M) certification for an outpatient breast imaging position.
Details
- Outpatient breast imaging department setting
- Breast imaging department serves inpatients requiring transplants and urgent care, working closely with the OR to care for cancer patients
- Produces high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM day shifts
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent mammography experience required
- ARRT (M) and BLS required
- Maryland state license required if applicable
- Completion of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (typically a 2-year college or technical school program)
- Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Produce high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms for a diverse patient population including cancer patients
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
