Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.
Details
- Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes obstetric patients undergoing labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
- Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides clinical support to obstetricians, surgical scrub techs, RNs, and charge nurses in the LDRP setting
- Responsibilities include patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
- Adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety
- May be responsible for mentoring and training students
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a different rate
- Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
