Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Scan Technologist with Level 1 Trauma experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital in Charleston, SC.

Details

Work setting is an 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma academic teaching hospital
CT Scan unit with daily caseload that varies by shift and location
Schedule is 4x10-hour night shifts, Monday–Thursday, 8:30 PM–7:00 AM
Charting via Epic
Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities
On-call is not required

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
Active BLS (AHA), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA R(CT) certifications required
PIV experience required
Siemens scanner experience required
South Carolina license required if applicable — must be active and in hand prior to start date
2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
SSN and Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are accepted provided they have relevant prior experience
Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and are subject to manager/unit approval
Pre-assignment online modules are required and completed prior to start
Scrub colors are teal top and black bottom
A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
A one-time $20 parking pass is required for nights and weekend parking
