Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting in Urbana, IL, with Epic EMR experience and Level 1 Trauma background required.
Details
- Acute care inpatient therapy unit at a hospital setting
- Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
- No floating requirements
- Epic EMR used; experience required
Requirements
- Illinois PT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required
- New graduates will be considered
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients of all ages, developing and modifying individualized plans of care, and documenting in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Collaborates with patients, families, and the broader medical team to communicate patient status, discharge planning, and equipment needs
- Provides supervision to PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Serves as a clinical resource for staff and students
- Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any facility within the system
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
