Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position on a Cardiac Specialty Unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and TN or Compact RN license.

Details

• Cardiac Specialty Unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month required
• Patient ratio of 1:7–8; team nursing model may be used when ratios exceed 8
• Floating required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license: TN state license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN telemetry experience required
• Must be able to pass an EKG competency test prior to the start of the assignment

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local
• Time off (RTO) requests during holidays or holiday weeks will not be accommodated; holiday RTO may be discussed with the manager onsite after assignment begins
• Restricted holiday periods include: Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
• Orientation is bi-weekly
