Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at an acute care hospital in Kentucky, requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute Med/Surg experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care hospital Med/Surg unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5 (may fluctuate with census and call-ins)
• Charting performed in Meditech EMR
• Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — KY or compact state license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent, acute Med/Surg hospital experience
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidate must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis
• Schedule follows a 36/48-hour two-week pay period
