Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) of an acute care hospital in Denver, CO
• Night shift, 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call availability may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of ED/Emergency Department RN experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• Former permanent Intermountain staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
• Performs health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment in support of patient well-being
• Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• BSN is preferred but not required
