Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a night shift contract position requiring at least 1 year of recent experience and active FL CRT and ARRT certifications.
Details
- Inpatient hospital radiology setting
- Procedures include abdomen/GI, chest/thorax, head, lower/upper extremity, spine/pelvis, portables, and surgeries/C-arm
- Fluoroscopy studies and enema studies experience preferred
- Patient population spans all ages from neonate to older adult
- Inpatient and/or outpatient experience applicable
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- 4x8 hour night shifts, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Thursday through Sunday
- On-call requirement included with this schedule
- Hurricane sign-up required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Radiology Technologist experience
- Active FL CRT and ARRT certification required
- Active BLS certification via AHA or ARC required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in abdomen/GI, chest/thorax, head, extremity, spine/pelvis imaging, portables, C-arm, and PACS
- Ability to work with all age groups from neonate to older adult
- FL state or compact license required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic imaging across a broad range of body areas including portable and surgical/C-arm studies
- Must adhere to isolation precautions protocols
- Smoke-free facility
- Local candidates within a 60-mile radius of the facility are considered for this position
- Proof of vaccination status required — declinations are not accepted
- A pass/fail Basic Arrhythmia (EKG) assessment may be required; candidates who do not score 100% on lethal rhythms may be given the opportunity to retake a dysrhythmia exam within 24 hours and must achieve an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% on the lethal rhythm section, and 83% on all other sections
