Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with recent PICU/NICU experience and Epic proficiency for a hospital-based travel assignment in Iowa.

Details

• Hospital/medical center setting with potential to float across multiple campuses
• PICU and/or NICU patient population; candidate may work across both units
• Experience with HFOV/High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation is highly preferred
• Experience with Jet and Servo U ventilators is highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of respiratory care experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Recent PICU and/or NICU experience required
• Active NBRC credential (CRT accepted)
• Active BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Active PALS or NRP certification required; both must be in hand at time of consideration
• Iowa Respiratory Care license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum 36 months of RRT/CRT experience reflected in work history
• Respiratory Therapy-specific skills checklist required
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidate may be required to float across multiple campuses
• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
• Time-off requests during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods are limited to 1 day per holiday window
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local radius rate reduction
