Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of experience in cardiac and vascular catheterization procedures, including structural heart, for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• 13-week contract at an acute care hospital cardiac cath lab
• Multidisciplinary lab environment supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing and interventional procedures
• Procedures include structural heart, diagnostic and therapeutic coronary, and peripheral vascular
• Monday–Friday schedule with a variable start time between 7:00–8:00 AM; 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Call schedule includes approximately one weekend per month and one day per week

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience in a U.S. hospital
• RCIS or RAD (Radiology) certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (AA, BA, BS, BSN) or equivalent experience required
• Ability to scrub and pan procedures for peripheral and diagnostic studies
• Active license required if applicable — no pending licenses accepted
• U.S. SSN required for consideration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment, including radiology imaging equipment operation
• Experience in additional specialties (e.g., EP) is a plus
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
• All certifications must be AHA-issued
• Two manager or supervisor references verifying experience within the previous 12 months are preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer
