Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of cath lab experience and RCIS or RAD certification for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting performing invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Procedures include structural heart, diagnostic and therapeutic coronary, and peripheral vascular studies
• Candidate must be able to scrub and pan for peripheral and diagnostic procedures
• Monday–Friday with a variable start time between 7:00–8:00 AM; 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Call schedule includes approximately one day per week and one weekend per month

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab and/or EP experience in a US hospital
• RCIS or RAD certification required
• BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required
• Degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, or AA) or equivalent experience required
• License required if applicable — active license required; no pending licenses accepted
• US SSN required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Works in a multidisciplinary lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures
• Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment while operating radiology imaging equipment per prescribed procedure
• Experience in additional specialties beyond cath lab is a plus
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
• Certifications must be from AHA only
