Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring a NJ or compact RN license, NRP certification, and a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.

Details

Hospital-based NICU setting with rotation into the Special Care Nursery (Level II) as needed
Patient ratio of 1:2
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
Block scheduling is not permitted
Travelers are required to float within skillset across up to 5 hospital locations in the health system
Epic EMR used; experience preferred but not required

Requirements

Active NJ RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS and NRP
Minimum 2 years of NICU nursing experience required
Experience attending deliveries preferred

Additional Information

First-time travelers are accepted, though experienced travelers are preferred
COVID-19 vaccine required with no exemptions
Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests submitted after that point will not be accepted
Two current professional references required for consideration
