Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a pediatric hospital setting, performing CT and X-ray duties on a night shift weekend schedule with a valid LSRT and ARRT certification required.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting in a dedicated CT unit
- Performs both CT and X-ray duties
- 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
- May be required to float to the main hospital for coverage
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Required certifications: LSRT, ARRT (R and CT), and BLS (American Heart Association only)
- Active Louisiana state license required if applicable
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- Provides clinical services in accordance with radiology practice standards to support optimal departmental operations
- Demonstrates proficiency with CT and X-ray equipment, protocols, and procedures, producing high-quality exams within appropriate timeframes
- Up to 5 days of RTO allowed for this assignment
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for consideration
