Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and required GE CT Scanner proficiency for a night shift travel contract.

Details

• Hospital-based CT/X-Ray setting serving a broad patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Procedures include CT of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, carotid, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal; vascular studies including PE, CTA, and aorta; 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering); and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
• Contrast media preparation and administration is required
• GE CT Scanner experience required
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday
• Floating to X-Ray is required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT/X-Ray experience
• Current BLS, ARRT, and IEMA certifications required
• Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and Emergency Department settings required
• Proficiency with GE CT Scanner required
• Experience with radiation safety protocols required
• License required if applicable

• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
• Any time off or scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
• Scrubs must be black or dark gray
