Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Telemetry position in Liberty, MO, requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and active MO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• 3 East Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 1845–0715
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday coverage required unless time off has been pre-approved
• EMR: Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts), noted to be very similar to Cerner — prior experience not required

Requirements

• Active RN license — MO state or compact license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience required
• BSN preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• New graduates will not be considered for this position
• Orientation spans approximately 5 days: days 1–2 are system-wide orientation, days 3–4 are facility and clinical orientation, and day 5 involves computer training before unit assignment
• This is a nicotine-free facility
• Local and travel candidates are both accepted at the same bill rate
