Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU Float position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and flexibility to support Med Surg on an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule with night shifts.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float position within a hospital setting, with primary support to Med Surg
• Night shift schedule, 7p–7a, on an alternating 3x12 and 4x12 hours per week rotation
• 84 hours biweekly
• Weekend availability required, which may include most weekends during the contract
• Block scheduling may be accommodated; however, set schedules cannot be approved
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• Floating is a core expectation of this role

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid anything that could produce a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and upon arrival
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• 13-week contract
