Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Lafayette, CO, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit of an acute care hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Weekend availability required
• On-call requirements to be discussed during the interview
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only); must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients
• Responsibilities include health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, and patient referrals
• Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent Intermountain Health employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN is preferred but not required
