Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) position in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of CVICU experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift position: 1900–0730, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
• Located in a hospital ICU setting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale — must not expire prior to start date
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN minimum); BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs independent and delegated nursing functions including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Responsibilities include health teaching, counseling, consultation, delegation, supervision, and documentation per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• BSN is preferred but not required
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
