Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ED Observation Unit night shift position in Denver, CO, requiring 1 year of relevant specialty experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the ED Observation Unit of a hospital setting in Denver, CO
- Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
- 13-week contract
- Charting performed in Epic
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the same specialty required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; BSN preferred)
- Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to assignment start
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient nursing care, including health teaching, counseling, and treatment
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed for further evaluation
- Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Two professional references required for consideration
