Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience for a 13-week hospital contract in California.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting
- Day shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (5x8s)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CA OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant acute care experience
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to help patients build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Former employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
