Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ED, inpatient, and outpatient experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a travel assignment in New Orleans, LA.
Details
- Hospital-based CT department serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Candidate is expected to float between the ED, main campus, outpatient, and nearby clinics within walking distance of the main campus
- Uses GE CT equipment
- Epic EMR — experience required
- 5x8-hour day shifts from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
- Holiday coverage is required if a scheduled workday falls on a holiday
Requirements
- Active ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current BLS (AHA) required
- ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT experience required
- Proficiency with GE CT equipment required
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must live 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible
- License required if applicable — allied health licensure application must be submitted within 72 hours of contract signing
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across multiple care settings including the ED, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics
- All BLS and other certifications must be AHA-issued
- Requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
- In the event of a declared emergency, travelers may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain on-site or serve as part of a relief team until the event has passed — candidates uncomfortable with this expectation should not apply
