Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring Level II or III trauma experience and certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.

Details

• Work setting is a high-volume Emergency Department (40+ bed ER, 200+ visits/day)
• Patient population includes both adults and pediatric patients
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (must be willing to obtain prior to start if not already held)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a comparable setting (40+ bed ER, 200+ visits/day)
• Level II or III trauma center experience required
• Recent ER travel experience within the past 6–8 months preferred
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid all substances that could produce a positive drug screen result, including CBD products, throughout the duration of their assignment
