Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Labor & Delivery for a 13-week travel contract in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and an active OK or Compact RN license.

Details

• Family Birth Place unit with 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/post beds
• Day shift schedule, 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1
• External fetal monitoring equipment used
• EMR: Epic
• Floating may be required to the postpartum unit
• No on-call requirements
• Weekends required as determined by facility

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, C-EFM, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of labor & delivery experience at a hospital delivering 350–400 patients per month
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled

Additional Information

• ACLS and PALS are preferred but not required
• Black scrubs required
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
• Candidates living within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or reassignment outside the 50-mile radius is required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
