Description

American Traveler is hiring a dual modality CT Tech / X-Ray Tech with stroke and trauma experience for a night shift contract at an inpatient/outpatient acute care facility in Broward County, FL.

Details

• Dual modality position requiring operation as both a CT Technologist and Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)
• Inpatient and outpatient setting serving all age groups from neonates to older adults
• Stroke and trauma cases are part of the regular caseload
• Procedures include abdomen/GI/pelvis, chest/thorax, head/neck, upper/lower extremity, spine/musculoskeletal, portables, CTA, CCTA (preferred), brain perfusion, and contrast media preparation/administration
• CT scanner is a Siemens GoTop
• Epic EMR experience is required
• PACS system used; multiplanar reconstruction experience preferred
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but at a different pay rate than travelers

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist and 1 year as a CT Technologist (2 years total across both modalities)
• Dual modality proficiency required — must be qualified to perform both CT and X-Ray independently
• Stroke and trauma experience required
• Active FL CRT and ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required via AHA or ARC
• Proficiency in isolation precautions required
• Experience starting IVs and administering contrast media required
• FL license or compact license required if applicable
