Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU travel position requiring a DC RN license, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Neuro ICU setting
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Charting via Cerner
Requirements
- Active DC RN license required; pending DC license accepted but must be in hand prior to start
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
- BSN and CCRN preferred
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate

- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
