Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level III NICU position in Denver, CO, requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least one year of NICU experience.

Details

• Level III NICU at a hospital in Denver, CO
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required
• Required certifications (must be AHA and remain active through the assignment start): BLS, and NRP/ACLS/PALS as appropriate for the unit
• ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for neonatal patients
• Responsibilities include health teaching, counseling, therapy and treatment, delegation, supervision, and consultation
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN is preferred
