Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of trauma and stroke experience for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Aiken, SC.
Details
- 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: Thursday 9:00 AM–9:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–8:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience in a US hospital setting, including trauma and stroke experience
- Associate's Degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required
- Active (non-pending) state license required, if applicable
- BLS certification (AHA only) required
- ARRT RT(R)(CT) required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Operate CT and radiographic equipment, analyze body habitus to adjust technical factors, and consistently produce high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure
- Review physician orders and obtain pertinent clinical data prior to exams
- Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supply management, and response to contrast reactions or codes
- Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes
- CPI certification is mandated for this position
