Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Radiation Oncology with at least 2 years of experience and active Colorado licensure for a 13-week travel contract at a leading cancer treatment facility in the Rockies.
Details
- Outpatient Radiation Oncology / Cancer Center setting
- Oncology patient population with complex and varied cancer diagnoses, including chronic illness and comorbidity management
- Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per weekday (4x10s)
- No weekend shifts required
Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license in good standing (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Oncology nursing experience
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy certification preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinic environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of hematology/oncology, immunology, pharmacology, and evidence-based oncology practices
- Flu vaccine required — no exemptions accepted
- DOB or SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Coordinate oncology patient care with interdisciplinary staff across a nationally accredited cancer treatment center
- Facility utilizes advanced technologies including tumor-genetic profiling and a wide range of radiation and therapeutic treatments
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
- Facility-provided housing may be available for travelers to rent directly — contact the AM Department for details
