Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in CT scanning, proficiency with GE equipment and PACS, and Meditech EMR experience for a travel assignment.

Details

• CT scan department in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 36/48 rotating schedule: alternating weeks of 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts (84 hours per two-week pay period) — candidates who cannot commit to this schedule will not be considered
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope of practice

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current AHA BLS required
• Active compact or state license required if applicable
• Experience with GE CT equipment and PACS required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Driver's license with address matching permanent address required for consideration
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 charge-level or higher and 1 supervisor reference, both completed within the last year

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on a bi-weekly basis
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; all RTO must be submitted upfront and no changes will be accepted after submission
• Must be available to work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment
• Travelers who have worked within the system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
• Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; pairs will not be placed on the same shift or unit
• Any license issues or background check concerns must be disclosed upfront
