Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience, ARRT certification, and proficiency with GE equipment and PACS for a travel assignment in a hospital CT setting.

Details

• Hospital-based CT scan department
• Rotating schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (8:00 AM–8:30 PM) and 4x12-hour shifts, alternating weekly on an 84-hour biweekly schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope of practice required
• Uses GE equipment and PACS imaging system
• Meditech EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Tech or X-Ray Tech
• Active ARRT certification required
• AHA BLS required
• Active compact or state license required if applicable
• Proficiency with GE equipment and PACS required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Driver's license with address matching permanent residence required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 Charge Nurse or higher and 1 supervisor, both completed within the last year
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Must be willing and able to commit to the full rotating 84-hour biweekly schedule; inability to accept this schedule may result in cancellation
• Holiday coverage required — must work either a major or minor holiday each holiday period
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; RTO must be declared upfront and no changes will be accepted after submission
• Travelers who have worked in this system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
• Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis and will not be placed on the same shift or unit
