Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a 234-bed tertiary hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification.
Details
- 234-bed tertiary hospital setting
- 4x10-hour shifts: Friday 12:00 PM–10:30 PM, Saturday/Sunday 11:00 AM–9:30 PM, and Monday 12:00 PM–10:30 PM
- Weekend shifts are required
- No on-call requirement
- No floating required
- Charting via Epic
- Siemens CT equipment required; Philips experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Current BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT), and SCRQSA (CT) certifications required
- Siemens CT equipment experience required
- A personal radiation dosimetry badge is required and must be provided prior to starting — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
- South Carolina license required if applicable — candidates with a pending SC license may be considered, but must be active/issued before reporting to the facility
- SSN and driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Travelers who were previously employed at this health system (including PRN) must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
- Onboarding modules must be completed prior to the assignment start date
- Black and teal scrubs are required
- Free parking is available on-site
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
- First-time travelers may be considered depending on the position
- Phillips CT equipment experience is preferred
