Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a 234-bed tertiary hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

• 234-bed tertiary hospital setting
• 4x10-hour shifts: Friday 12:00 PM–10:30 PM, Saturday/Sunday 11:00 AM–9:30 PM, and Monday 12:00 PM–10:30 PM
• Weekend shifts are required
• No on-call requirement
• No floating required
• Charting via Epic
• Siemens CT equipment required; Philips experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT), and SCRQSA (CT) certifications required
• Siemens CT equipment experience required
• A personal radiation dosimetry badge is required and must be provided prior to starting — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
• South Carolina license required if applicable — candidates with a pending SC license may be considered, but must be active/issued before reporting to the facility
• SSN and driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travelers who were previously employed at this health system (including PRN) must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Onboarding modules must be completed prior to the assignment start date
• Black and teal scrubs are required
• Free parking is available on-site
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on the position
• Phillips CT equipment experience is preferred
