Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Sierra Vista, AZ, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and AHA-certified ACLS and BLS.

Details

• Work in an acute care Med/Surg unit at a 34-bed facility in Sierra Vista, AZ
• Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients, with occasional pediatric patients (not assigned to travelers)
• Patient ratio is 6:1
• Telemetry, surgical, and general medical patient types
• Equipment includes Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitors
• EMR is Cerner
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Must occasionally work weekends (same shift hours apply)
• On-call requirements apply only when understaffed or placed on call
• Floating may include coverage for inpatient holds

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• AHA-certified BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• General healthcare experience required
• Cerner EMR experience beneficial
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• AHA certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates must not be employed full-time elsewhere
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Any color scrubs are acceptable; closed-toe shoes are required
