Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position at an acute care hospital in Sanford, NC, requiring at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience and a valid NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 24-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit at a 137-bed acute care hospital
• Serves a mixed patient population of all ages
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement, with additional weekend hours as needed
• On-call required as needed
• Floating required as needed
• EMR: Cerner
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH Stroke Scale — all must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 1–2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Travelers may wear scrubs of any color of their choosing; casual wear is not permitted
• Candidates who have worked permanently at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• The facility is Joint Commission-certified as a Primary Stroke Center and ACC-certified as a Chest Pain Center
• Located in Sanford, NC, with easy access to Raleigh, Durham, and the Research Triangle region
