Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Scan Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience and Siemens equipment proficiency for a 13-week night shift travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 trauma teaching hospital.
Details
- Work setting is an 865-bed Magnet-designated Level 1 trauma academic teaching hospital
- CT unit utilizing Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7) scanners
- Daily caseload varies by shift and location
- Charting via Epic
- Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, with holiday rotation
- On-call rotation required with staff
- Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities, is required
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of Level 1 trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
- Current BLS (AHA), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) required
- Hands-on experience with Siemens CT equipment required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- SC state license required; must be active and in hand — pending licenses are not accepted for this position
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted provided they have relevant prior experience
- Previous permanent or PRN staff at any facility in this health system must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; approval is based on manager and unit availability
- Completion of online modules is required prior to the assignment start date
- Scrub color is teal top and black bottom
- A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized, and local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Parking is available at a one-time cost of $20 for a parking pass (nights and weekends only)
