Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Sanford, NC, requiring independent proficiency in both CT and X-ray.

Details

• Imaging department of a 137-bed acute care facility serving all patient populations (adult, pediatric, geriatric)
• Dual role covering both CT and X-ray departments; floating between units is required
• Equipment includes a GE CT Revolution and a mix of GE and Siemens X-ray rooms
• 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; schedule includes varied weekdays, weekends, and nights
• Every other weekend coverage expected
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT and X-ray experience; must be able to work independently in both modalities
• ARRT certification with CT and RT designations required
• AHA certifications required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging across a broad patient population in support of services including cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN, ED, gastroenterology, and more
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Any color scrubs are acceptable; scrubs are required
